About Piko
Piko is a modern digital health platform available in Portugal, focused on medical treatment. Through piko.com, you can have medical consultations by video call and get check-ups with lab tests. The whole experience runs on a modern interface, where you can follow your progress directly on the platform.

Who we are
Piko wants to make medical follow-up more modern by building an integrated platform where people can keep track of their health.
As well as medical consultations and lab tests, our patients have a dedicated nurse who supports them day to day, educational videos and a progress dashboard where they can follow how they are doing.
Piko was founded in 2026 by Eduardo Alves.
Our services, and what we don't do
Medical weight-loss programme
A medically supervised programme for adults aged 18 to 65 with overweight or obesity. At the first consultation, the doctor checks whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
- A 20-minute first consultation with a doctor by video call.
- A follow-up consultation by video call every month.
- A plan covering diet and physical activity and, if the doctor considers it clinically indicated, medication.
- A review of any lab tests you have already had and, when relevant, a request for new ones.
- A dedicated nurse, who answers by chat (on working days) and supports you day to day.
Prescribing medication always depends on a prior medical assessment. The decision is always the doctor's.
Check-up with lab tests
A health check-up with blood tests. The sample is taken at a partner laboratory. 100 biomarkers are assessed, and they are reviewed by our medical services provider.
What we don't do
- We don't guarantee that any medication will be prescribed. The doctor decides, after the assessment, whether a medicine is indicated. It may not be.
- We don't guarantee results. Progress varies from person to person.
- For now, we are only available in Portugal.
- Medication is not included. If the doctor prescribes medication, you collect it from a pharmacy of your choice.

The healthcare provider: it provides the medical consultations. It is registered with the Entidade Reguladora da Saúde (ERS), Portugal's health regulator, as establishment no. 182522.
Lyvion Digital Solutions, Lda.

Runs the piko.com website, takes payments and is the controller of the personal data collected on the website.
The registered offices, share capital, clinical direction, ERS registration and alternative dispute resolution are on the Legal information page. The registration can be checked in the ERS provider search.
Team and clinical direction
Consultations are held by doctors registered with the Ordem dos Médicos, Portugal's medical association. The clinical director is Dr. Ricardo Silva, who is also the technical director named in the establishment's registration with the ERS.
